A new owner bought the building and in May of 2012 the sculpture was dismantled.
"Metamorphosis" was commissioned for a real estate company's 100 foot entry corridor. The concept was to engage the viewer's attention as they moved to the rear of the corridor to the elevator. In this picture, the full sculpture is represented.
Two years after this photo was taken, the decision to remove the pieces on the ceiling to allow for more light changed the entire look and feel of the original concept and does not convey the artist's intentions but the remaining pieces on the wall are still works of art in their own right.
